This place should definitely be reviewed more highly on Google Maps. I can only comment on what I saw today but the food, coffee, service and feel of the place was perfect. A great spot to dip into for a feed and refuel after a long walk up Mt Herbert nearby or even just enjoy the views of Banks Peninsula and Lyttleton across the bay. A*

Great little cafe. The service is friendly, warm and helpful. They're happy to answer questions and help you make your selection. Coffee is also really good. The setting is amazing and incredibly peaceful in the morning. Great place to catch a bite and a drink when the kids are playing sport.

I bit rustic so if you like roots on your vegetables and burnt bits, thumbs up! Seafood was great and one of the best cooked steaks I've ever had. Worth the drive, or take the ferry.
